The Common Ailments Service should be used as an alternative to seeing a GP.
Patients registered with a Welsh GP surgery are eligible to use this service. The only exclusions are:
- Temporary residents whose usual address is outside of Wales
- Care home residents
- Sometimes when you or your family are unwell you may not need to make an appointment to see your doctor. Your local participation community pharmacist is a trained medical professional who can provide free advice and now free treatment on a range of common ailments.
